nexeye welcomes Mary Doumtsi as new Chief Customer Officer

Gorinchem, 6 May 2025 – nexeye, the parent company of Hans Anders, eyes + more and Direkt Optik, is proud to announce the appointment of Mary Doumtsi as its new Chief Customer Officer (CCO). As of 1 May, Mary is responsible for the optical and audio sales organisations of Hans Anders and eyes + more in the Netherlands and Belgium, Direkt Optik in Sweden, and the central marketing and communications department of the nexeye group.

Mary Doumtsi has over 15 years of international experience in retail, hearing care, brand strategy and customer experience. In her previous role as Chief Retail Officer at WSAudiology, she led multidisciplinary teams across the globe and played a key role in developing purpose-driven strategies with a direct impact on millions of people living with hearing loss. Prior to that, she held senior positions at G-Star RAW and PVH Corp. (Tommy Hilfiger & Calvin Klein), following her studies at the University of Bath.

Mary’s appointment highlights nexeye’s ambition to accelerate growth in both the optical and hearing care markets in the coming years. There is particular potential in hearing care, where Hans Anders aims to expand its presence and take on a more prominent role in the near future.
