Following in the footsteps of eyes+more in August, Direkt Optik has now officially joined the Diversity Charter in Sweden! Today, at the official signatory event, Direkt Optik proudly became a member of this impactful initiative. By joining the Diversity Charter, we commit to creating an inclusive workplace where differences in gender, identity, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, disability, and age are not only respected but celebrated.
Established in France in 2004 and supported by the EU Commission since 2010, the Diversity Charter is a powerful driver of diversity and inclusion across Europe. With a presence in 27 EU countries and over 17,000 signatories representing more than 17 million employees, it stands as a significant force for positive change. In Sweden alone, 160 members representing 600,000 employees have embraced this commitment. By joining the Charter, Direkt Optik pledges to actively create a workplace that celebrates differences—whether in gender, gender identity, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or age.
Jessica Eklund, Country Manager Sweden, stated, "We firmly believe that diversity and inclusion aren’t just values—they are essential to how we serve our communities. By embracing diverse talents, perspectives, and experiences, we drive better performance. We are committed to equal opportunities and fair compensation, ensuring everyone can thrive, no matter their background."
