Hans Anders launches new campaign featuring André van Duin

Gorinchem, March 2025 - Hans Anders launches a new campaign featuring Dutch celebrity André van Duin. With a fresh dose of humor and a clear call to action, the campaign highlights Hans Anders' commitment to top-quality products at competitive prices. Launching on Monday, March 10, the campaign will be omnichannel, appearing on TV, social media, radio, CRM, online, and, of course, in stores.

Continuation of the campaign with relatable stores and a touch of humor

Over the past year and a half, Hans Anders has revived its well-known brand theme 'Hans. Only the price is different,' which underscores the unique promotions and value-for-money proposition that Hans Anders has stood for since 1982. This theme is now being strengthened by involving Dutch celebrities in these stories. "We want to make it clear that also well-known Dutch people, like everyone else, sometimes just need a new, good pair of glasses. They find them at Hans, for a price that is truly different," says Linda van de Wiel, Director Marketing & Communications at Hans Anders. "For more than 40 years, we have made glasses, lenses, and hearing aids accessible to everyone – and we are proud of that."

The campaign highlights the strong connection Hans Anders has with the Netherlands. Over 7 million Dutch people, including many celebrities, wear Hans Anders glasses. "Hans Anders is for everyone – from well-known faces to the everyday person. We are a brand for all of the Netherlands," says Linda van de Wiel.

With a nationwide network of stores and unique promotions, Hans Anders stands for quality and service in eye and hearing care at the best prices. This includes the one and only '3=1' offer, where customers receive the second and third complete pair of glasses for free, including frames and lenses, even multifocal.

We wanted to emphasize this by choosing André, who is not only likable but also currently the face of Dutch entertainment and loved and admired by all Dutch people," adds Laurens Mauquoi, Chief Digital Officer at nexeye, the holding company behind Hans Anders.

Creative partnership

In close collaboration with the management and the marketing and communications team of Hans Anders, the creative branding agency VENGEAN developed this new campaign. Directed by Sjors Baarveld and photographed by Ron Gessel, the voice of Hans Anders is provided by Birgit Schuurman.
