Nexeye presents 2023 Sustainability Ambition Report: "In View of the Future"

Nexeye is pleased to present the Sustainability Ambition Report 2023, titled "In View of the Future." This report marks nexeye's continued dedication to integrating sustainability into the core of business operations, a critical element for long-term prosperity.

This 2023 report provides a comprehensive overview of nexeye's ambitions, key focus areas, and the strides made throughout the year to advance the sustainability agenda. Despite acknowledging the challenges ahead, nexeye remains resolute in overcoming them.

Central to nexeye's mission is making high-quality eye and hearing care accessible and affordable for all. In 2023, nexeye updated the materiality analysis following the CSRD double materiality framework and refined the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) strategy to better address identified impacts, risks, and opportunities. Stakeholders are invited to delve into the report to gain insights into nexeye's strategy, initiatives, and achievements.

The international expansion of nexeye is primarily driven by eyes + more. This retail concept differentiates itself through a strong, fashion-forward assortment, transparent fixed pricing and an accessible in-store experience. eyes + more makes eye care simple, stylish and affordable, appealing to a broad and international customer base. The chain currently operates more than 300 stores across Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Austria and continues to grow rapidly.

In Sweden, nexeye is also active with the optical retail chain Direkt Optik, which operates 33 stores.
