Hans Anders wins two Retailer of the Year awards

Yesterday Hans Anders was elected ABN AMRO Retailer of the Year in the categories Audiologists and Best Webshop Optics 2023-2024. During the festive gathering Country Retail Manager Christel Wesdorp and COO Sanne Oosterhoff received the awards on behalf of Hans Anders. According to Wesdorp the awards are the ultimate proof that at Hans Anders 'alleen de prijs is Anders' (pay-off: only the price is different).

Good hearing achievable for everyone in the Netherlands

Over 162,000 consumers voted for their favourite retailers this year. When casting their votes, consumers rate retail chains and webshops on a combination of price, product range, reliability, service, and quality. Christel Wesdorp: “We offer all our customers the highest quality and service as standard, just at a price that really is Anders (different). Because we believe that good vision and hearing should be accessible and therefore affordable for everyone. We go for the perfect customer experience, in our stores and also online. That is why we are immensely proud that our customers have expressed their appreciation and that we have received the award for Retailer of the Year 2023-2024 in the categories Audiologists and Best Webshop Optics. A huge compliment for our colleagues who do their best every day to give all our customers a top experience at Hans Anders.”

Sanne Oosterhoff, COO of nexeye, Hans Anders’ parent company, adds: "We consider the award for Best Webshop Optics as a huge testament to the fact that Hans Anders has invested heavily in a progressive omnichannel strategy in recent years. We wholeheartedly believe in the combination of bricks-and-mortar and webshop and we can now see that the path we have taken is being well received. Take for example the virtual fitting of frames on our revamped website or our appointment module where customers can determine online where, when and for what they would like to come to our store. With innovations like these, we have enhanced the services for our customers and are even more responsive to the changing needs of our customers.”

With these two category awards, Hans Anders is also nominated to be overall winner of the titles 'ABN AMRO Best Retailer of the Netherlands' 2023-2024, 'ABN AMRO Webshop Awards the Netherlands' 2023-2024 and 'ABN AMRO Retailer of the Year the Netherlands' 2023-2024. The winners will be announced at a gala on Thursday, November 2nd, 2023.
