First opticians graduate from new Hans Anders and Summa College training

On Tuesday 14 June, 13 Hans Anders colleagues received their diplomas as certified opticians. A special moment, because this is the first group to graduate from the renewed training, which was started by partners Hans Anders, Summa College and NCVB Bedrijfsopleidingen in the beginning of 2021. A important aspect is that the legally recognised optician's diploma, which normally takes three years, can now be obtained in one and a half years.

First-class optician and successful retailer

The three partners have each added their own expertise to the vocational training 'Optician Bbl Mbo 4' in Eindhoven. Naturally, the students at Summa College have learned everything there is to know about the optician's profession. From qualitative eye measurements and checks, to technical and material knowledge and styling advice. But the training distinguishes itself in that the students also learn how a customer can be helped with the best service and advice at every stage of the 'customer journey'. The students are employed by Hans Anders from day 1 and get an inside view of the brand, its values and its culture of 'Working and growing together'.
